Using very sensual aspects of queer culture, I took the idea of creating a hand bag that mimics a person wearing a studded leather jock strap. Wet-forming the vegtan leather over a sports cup to give a realistic dimension to the bag. I used this bag as a way to practice traditional leather techniques like dying my own leather, hand-stitching the outer shell, and edge paint finishes.
